1926 ZONING REGULATIONS FOR ALL DISTRICTS

SECTION I

 

A) The City of Woburn is herein divided into four (4) classes of districts: GENERAL RESIDENCE, BUSINESS, MANUFACTURING, and HEAVY INDUSTRY. These are shown on the accompanying map dated Nov 5, 1926.

 

B) The Boundaries between districts, unless otherwise indicated, are the center lines of streets, alleys, parkways, or railroads. Lines within blocks, unless otherwise indicated, are one hundred (100 ft) distant from the less restricted side of the block.

C) Where a boundary line divides a lot in possession of a single ownership at the time of this adoption, the regulation for the less restricted district portion of such a lot shall apply to the entire lot, but this less restricted exemption shall apply to no more than 25 ft within the boundary of the more restricted portion of the lot.

 

D) Chimneys spires, towers, and other projections not used for human occupation may extend above the height limitations described herein.

 

E) No lot shall be so reduced that the dimensions of open spaces shall be smaller than described herein.
